I am an illustrator and writer, living in Brooklyn, New York. Alas, no one else in the arts has ever thought to move to Brooklyn. I cheer myself by working among teetering piles of my favorite children's books, and reaching for the occasional cookie.

I illustrated the picture book, The Yellow Tutu (Random House, 2009), written by Kirsten Bramsen. My new book, Hey Duck!, will be published by Random House in 2013.
